And so Project Hush is.....

Project Hush is out of the bag: welcome to the World Eaters....

So why World Eaters? Truth be told because I have 2 Forgeworld Dreads purchased at the first Gamesday held at the NEC; not quite sure how many years ago but I wouldn't be surprised if we're talking 2003 or 2004. About time I put them in an army.

First we have the Chaos Lord in his Termie Armour and twin claws. I toyed with giving him a daemon weapon but as Kharn is also in the army I didn't fancy 2 HQs who can both decimate my own side!!
Sample of Bezerkers (there are 24 in the 1800 points; naturally split into 3 squads of 8)
And the one nearly completed Rhino...

Yes I even have the World Eater shoulder pads and yes I've had those for a while as well. It doesn't half feel good to be completing a project started 6 years ago!!!

So why reveal them now? With 4 weeks to go I think some practice games might be useful just to see how quickly I'll be finishing games and how many cups of tea I can then make for the other chaps.

First game is this Thursday against the Silverback's Nids; I suspect my combat army will be chewed through rather quickly...

Very nice! I like the muted colour scheme with red as the spot colour. And the guy sticking out of the rhino with the icon is great!

I love the scheme - the whole ideal of yours never to use a GW scheme is a lesson to all.

I can't see what you are disappointed with the vehicles - they look great.

oh yes and the flap on the windows on the front of the Rhino better open!

Bon Chance mon brave! Great to see you getting around to the older collection of your figures. I look forward to confronting them on the battlefields of the various galaxies.

All the Rhino's have the guy out of the top with twin-linked bolter and icon just cos, erm, well I had spares! You can't really tell from the pictures but the Bezerkers have 4 helmet designs and 4 shoulder pads so my squads are made up of same helmet/same shoulder pad; so the guy in the Rhino looks just like the squad who will jump in it.
The flap doesn't open. Sorry!
And the vehicle scheme has grown on me as I kind of like the fact it looks like they've thrown blood all over it!!!
