A very quick post on buildings....

Scratch building for Pulp City is great fun. I'm really enjoying doing a couple of shops and a skyscraper, but I thought I'd take the plunge and buy a couple of the Sarrisa precision buildings as they'd be fairly useful for bulking out terrain and giving us different buildings to fight over.

And you can colour me impressed. The one below was dry fitted in around 5 minutes and all I need to do tonight is break it down and glue the various floors together. There are tabs to keep the floors and roof in place during play but you can also then take them apart to move figures around the different floors. And you can see the windows & door detailing sitting next to them that will get glued inside the walls to complete the look.

I got this one and a slightly larger one as testers and I expect they'll both be built tonight ready for some painting.

I can feel my resolve crumbling. After my experience with the warbases HDF stuff I can see why youd be impressed.

I may well have to partake of their upcoming warehouse kit.

They look really good and a hell of a lot easier. Check this out for some SyFy ones that look really good

I'd seen those and was keeping them in mind for when we do something for Judge Dredd.

This HDF stuff is cool! I seriously had to resist buying a Sarissa building online today after seeing Urn's post!

the building is great and will grace the table. Just wondering if it will need sealing in someway before you paint it, as MDF (i know these are HDF) warps if you are not careful.

Secondly, I would take the bottle of wine and champers in the background as a sign of a good night in the Morton Household ;)

Lol, I only saw the bottles when I uploaded the photo. To make it worse, the bottle of red is a bigger than normal bottle too :)

Good point on the warping, think I'll trial one first.

The simplicity is their strength, only two points to note - the inside of the wall on the roof is blank and will need texturing and there isn't a staircase hole cut in the first floor if people wanted to fully detail the interior.....
